UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO THE UNCERTAINTY REGARDING CORONAVIRUS AND THE FACT THAT THE ARTISTS AND MANY OF OUR GUESTS WOULD BE TRAVELLING, THIS MONTH’S JAZZ EVENING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. WE STILL PLAN TO OPEN THE CAFE EVERY DAY UNLESS WE ARE ADVISED NOT TO.

PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE.

AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED LOYALTY.

3 courses £49.00 | 2 courses £44.00 | cover charge £22.00

Alan Barnes is perhaps one of the most prolific composers, arrangers and performers.in British jazz. He is an organiser of festivals, record label owner and highly productive collaborator with such diverse talents as Martin Taylor, Scott Hamilton and Gilad Atzmon. Alan’s playing style is mainstream but not staid, adventurous, but without pretensions. His most recent recording celebrates the year of his birth, 1959, on which he is showcased on alto, baritone, clarinet and bass clarinet.
