Zoot Money (keyboards and vocals) with The Big Roll Band

3 courses £49.00 2 courses £44.00 music only £22.00

In a special addition to our Friday night series to celebrate his birthday we welcome back Bournemouth born Zoot Money with his Big Roll Band.

When the British Rhythm and Blues scene took off in the sixties Zoot Money was at the centre of the action and became ubiquitous as a sideman and performer alongside Eric Burdon, Steve Marriot, Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) and Andy Summers (later of The Police). In the eighties he pursued a parallel career as an actor in film and television. Zoot Money and The Big Roll Band continue to roll on, sometimes touring as part of a revue that includes Georgie Fame, Alan Price, P.P. Arnold and Geno Washington. They also continue to perform regular gigs at The Bulls Head, Barnes.

When you come to a Zoot Money performance you can expect plenty of banter, some hilarious anecdotes and some no-nonsense blues.

The Friday Series will resume in September with another mouth-watering selection of guest artists, including:

Friday 29th September 2017  Tony Kofi (saxophone)

Friday 27th October 2017  Nigel Price (guitar)

Friday 24th November 2017  Liane Carroll (piano/vocals)
